This blog was created to raise awareness about hemophilia and inhibitors. Hemophilia is a rare, genetic disorder which affects blood clotting. Treatment is available to replace the missing clotting factors in a person's blood, however some people form antibodies against the clotting factors - called inhibitors. If this happens, life can become very difficult. Inhibitors happen in many people with hemophilia (mostly children). There is little known about how to prevent and treat them.
